Doogee has released or plans to release a number of mid-range smartphones. Mid-rangers are not the only devices this company is working on though, not by a long shot. We’ve talked about the Doogee F3 quite a few times thus far. This handset will be the company’s flagship for this year, and will come in three variants. Doogee’s upcoming handset will be released in 2, 3 and 4GB of RAM variants, though they won’t launch at the same time, but all of them will arrive before the end of this year.
That being said, we’ve also talked about the Doogee F2015, another higher-end model by this Chinese smartphone OEM. We already know the specs of this handset, which we’ll talk about in a second, let’s concentrate on the new info first. We’ve received some new information from our source at the company, along with a couple of images. The Doogee F2015 will be made out of ‘liquid metal’, which should make the device even stronger than regular metal would. Liquid metal alloy will reportedly make the device more resilient to dents, nicks, scratches, and so on.
The Doogee F2015 will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display (2.5D curved glass + Gorilla Glass 3) along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 32GB). This handset will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.5GHz along with a Mali-T760 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel camera (Samsung or Sony) will be located on the back of this handset, and an 8-megapixel snapper will be available up front. The 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package, and the device will be only 7.8mm thick. The Doogee F2015’s side bezels will be only 1mm thick, and the device will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The fingerprint scanner will also be available here, and the screen-to-body ratio of the device will be 79%.
