Google Updates Functionality Of Docs, Sheets and Slides

Those of us who spend countless seconds, minutes and hours working on documents and projects,  life has just gotten a bit easier. Google just sent out an update for Docs, Sheets and Slides that should make viewing and editing all content easier and much smoother across all Android mobile platforms.  After a very busy 2014 this update is one of the first in 2015 to Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. So what has changed; first in Office Compatibility Mode for Google Docs you can reply to comments in the app. Second when people make suggestions or give comments or critiques on your work it will appear in the same order the comments were made. This is a change to the old way in which all comments came first followed by all suggestions coming up second.

A second new feature that has been added is the ability to edit documents titles. Now if someone wants to edit a title of a documents or presentation, they can do so directly from the overflow menu. The menu is at the top right of all apps Docs, Sheets and Slides. Google thinks that this should make for a smoother and easier way to edit all titles.  Now in Slides the new update allows users to change their layouts on the go. You will now have the ability to change your layout to a predefined layout Google has already in store.  Google believes that since these are apps on mobile devices this will allow you to change your layouts much quicker and much easier.

This updates combined with the updates from 2014, updates that gave each of these programs its own specific app on mobile and its own standalone home screen on the web give this suite even more functionality. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides as always are free and are automatically backed up to your Google Drive. This suite is also available on  both Android and IOS. This update just enriches the great feature of real-time collaboration and the ability to have a community work, and edit on one project on the go across most mobile platforms.
