Huawei Honor 7 info has been leaking for months now. Huawei’s high-end smartphone has been popping up all over the place for a long time, and the company has finally announced the device a couple of days ago. This handset resembles Huawei’s previous high-end offerings, it is made out of metal, and it offers high-end specifications on top of that. We’ve already covered the initial announcement of this handset, and examined the device up close and personal. Well, it’s time to take a look at its internals now, read on.

Chinese portal IT168 dismantled Huawei’s newest offering in order to show us what lies on the inside. The device wasn’t all that difficult to dismantle it seems, but it’s also not the easiest thing to tore apart either. All in all, it’s what you’d expect from a well-built metal smartphones, similar to Huawei’s previous offerings. That being said, let’s take a look at Honor 7’s specs.
The Huawei Honor 7 sports a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) LCD display, 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 64GB of internal storage. This handset is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, and a 3,100mAh battery juices up this handset. The 20-megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX230 sensor) is located on the back of this device along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash. The fingerprint scanner is also available on the back, right below the camera. The 8-megapixel snapper can be found on the front side of this smartphone, and Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Honor 7 with Huawei’s EMUI (Emotion UI) 3.1 skin installed on top of Google’s OS. The device measures 143.2 x 71.9 x 8.5mm, and it weighs 157 grams.
The Honor 7 is available in three variants, the 16GB model is available in 3G and 4G options, while the 64GB variant ships with 4G LTE connectivity. The three devices are priced at 1,999 Yuan ($323), 2,199 Yuan ($355), and 2,499 Yuan ($403), respectively. The Huawei Honor 7 is available in Gold, Gray and Silver color options, and will be available for purchase in China starting July 7th. Huawei still hasn’t released any info regarding the international availability of this device.
