The OnePlus 2 is the latest flagship device from OnePlus and like its predecessor, is already establishing itself as a device which is capable of attracting a significant number of headlines. This is in spite of the device not being release or even unveiled yet. That said, the unveiling is only a matter of days away now with the launch of the OnePlus 2 set for July 27th. However, even with the launch only days away and the company routinely releasing a number of announcements detailing some of the major specs, there is still a number of reports emerging on what to expect from the OnePlus 2. In fact, the latest came this morning when leaked AnTuTu results showcased the performance of the device. Not to mention, images also appeared today showcasing the performance of the OnePlus 2 camera when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Well, adding to the abundance of reports, another report is coming through and this one reportedly comes with leaked images which are said to be of the front panel of the OnePlus 2. This is just the screen casing so unfortunately you do not get to see any of the actual device. However, what is of significant interest with this particular panel is the cutout which appears at the bottom of the panel. This is presumably a cutout for a home screen button. As all OnePlus One owners know, the use of such a button like this, is not present on the OnePlus One and therefore, if the image is of the OnePlus 2 front panel, then you can expect to see a more physical homescreen button incorporated into the design and one similar to what is often found on Samsung devices.
To add to this, it has already been confirmed by OnePlus that the OnePlus 2 does come sporting a fingerprint scanner. Until now, it was largely assumed that the fingerprint sensor would be on the back. This seemed to be further confirmed not long ago by images of what appeared to be a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and underneath the rear camera. However, if this is a home screen button on the OnePlus 2 front panel, then it stands to reason this is where the fingerprint sensor will inevitably be placed as well.
