OnePlus Thanks OnePlus 2 Partners For "2016 Flagship Killer"

OnePlus are well into launch mode as they prepare for the launch of their next flagship device, the OnePlus 2. As such, the company has been embarking on a rather obvious and blatant media frenzy of late. In fact, the company has been pushing out a number of its announcements with the hashtag #hype, which clearly shows that they are not afraid of admitting that their approach, albeit unusual, is one which is very clearly intentional.

As such, the last few weeks have seen an abundance of announcements coming from the company with regards to the OnePlus 2. Most of these have revealed tiny snippets of information. The most notable have included that the OnePlus 2 will come sporting 4GB RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, fingerprint sensor and a Type-C USB port. While the latest semi-confirmed spec was that the OnePlus 2 is likely to come offering dual-SIM support.

Well as the launch event and full unveiling draws closer, the company has sent out a post today on social media thanking their “partners” for their input. In typical OnePlus fashion, the post comes with an image which details most of the partners by name. As such, it is likely the image is going to draw more conclusions and further anticipate the #hype that OnePlus are counting on. To give you a prime example, a number of comments already are assuming the OnePlus 2 comes with a Toshiba sensor (instead of a Sony one) thanks to the Toshiba name being included. On an interesting side note, the message also comes with quite a bold claim as it thanks their partners for helping them build the “2016 flagship killer”. Whether this is a typo or not (more likely not with OnePlus) then it would seem they are aiming very high with the OnePlus 2. More importantly, whether or not the device is able to take on the big devices of next year remains to be seen. However, you can check out the image detailing all the listed partners above and make your own conclusions on what other specs are hidden away there. Chances are, there is something.
