Huawei has announced quite a few devices this year, and some of them are more than compelling. The company has showcased three high-end handsets thus far, the Huawei P8, P8Max and Honor 7. The Huawei P8 and Honor 7 are the company’s new premium smartphones, and the P8Max is a huge 6.8-inch phablet which seems to be selling really well in Asia. These three smartphones aren’t the only devices Huawei has announced thus far, the company has also released their first Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the Honor 4C mid-range smartphone, and three tablets. That being said, three new Huawei-branded devices have just been spotted in China, read on.
Three new Huawei-branded devices were just certified by the Chinese National Radio Certification site. As it usually goes with radio certifications, we really don’t get all that much info about the devices themselves, other than the fact which networks will they support and what not. AT-AL00, RIO-AL00 and CRR-AL00 are the certified models, and it seems like the first one is part of Huawei’s Honor lineup of devices. The CRR-AL00 will offer dual-SIM connectivity and will support GSM, CDMA2000, TD-LTE and FDD-LTE. According to the source, it is possible that the first listed handset is actually the Honor 7 Plus, though the Honor 7 was announced just recently so that seems somewhat unlikely. The Honor 7 Plus did leak quite a few times thus far, so it is possible that Huawei intends to launch that handset in the near future. Either way, we’ll find out soon, the company is expected to announce these three devices soon. Keep in mind that it’s possible these three devices are actually three variants of the Honor 7 that were announced recently.
Speaking of Huawei’s upcoming devices, the most anticipated model is the Mate 8 which is expected to launch this September. That handset is rumored to sport Huawei’s new Kirin 950 SoC, so it’s unlikely any of the certified devices will ship sporting that SoC. They will most likely sport the Kirin 930 or Kirin 935, it all depends. These devices are probably going to launch in the coming weeks, and as soon as some additional info surfaces, we’ll make sure to let you know, as usual.
