We’ve been seeing tons of leaks regarding Google’s Nexus devices lately. Both LG and Huawei have been mentioned as the new Nexus OEMs. LG is said to be working on a 5.2-inch Nexus device, while Huawei is reportedly developing a 5.7-inch Nexus phablet. That being said, a ton of rumors and have been coming our way lately. @OnLeaks has shared the alleged partial specs of both of these devices lately, and only a couple of days later we’ve seen the two devices being showcased as renders in both video and image formats.
These two handsets are due to launch in October most probably, though nothing has been confirmed just yet. We’re going to be seeing more and more similar leaks before that time comes, speaking of which, a new leak has surfaced showcasing the LG-made Nexus handset, and this time we’re looking at a real life image of the device. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll notice the back side of the alleged Nexus device. The camera sensor is located in the upper middle portion of the device, below which you’ll notice the fingerprint scanner, both of which sport a round shape. The dual-LED flash is located left to the camera sensor, and next to it you’ll notice what seems to be a Laser Autofocus we’ve already seen in the LG G3, LG G3 and the Meizu MX5.
The back side of this device looks quite odd, but it goes hand-in-hand to the leaked case images which surfaced a while back. Those accessories have had two circular cutouts in the middle, and one rectangular one on the side. This device seems to fit that perfectly, though we really don’t know how legit this leak is. Anyhow, the upcoming LG Nexus is said to sport a 5.2-inch display along with 3 or 4GB of RAM. The device will also feature two front-facing stereo speakers, and the Type-C USB 3.0 port at the bottom. According to recent leaks, the LG Nexus will measure 146.9 x 72.9 x 9.8mm, and will probably feature some metal in its design. That’s pretty much all we know at this point, we’ll report back if any new info pops up.
