Microsoft of late, has been making a massive push for Android and has been releasing a ton of their services and features on the Android platform. Evidently, this is great news for anyone who owns an Android device but prefers using Microsoft products. Well, one of their arguably biggest services is Skype which in reality, has been widely available in app form for Android for some considerable time. However, that is only for the personal version of Skype
Back in April of this year, Microsoft announced the launch of Skype for Businesses, which essentially tries to bring all the features and design of Skype over to a platform which is more suited to the business environment. As such, a number of features like your syncing of your work contacts, your meeting itinerary and so on, are all integrated into the new Skype for Business service. Not to mention, you can view upcoming appointments or even go back through recent conversations that you have had in chats, phone calls and online meetings. However, at the time, the Skype for Business service was only available to desktop users of the platform. Well, today, the company announced a much broader roll out of the Skype for Business service and it can now be downloaded and installed on Android devices too.
