Rumor: LG Class On Its Way To AT&T

LG is one of the companies who does like releasing a number of smartphones each year. This year, even more than ever as it is largely expected that the company will be one of the manufacturers who sees a Nexus smartphone announced tomorrow. However, that is not all, as once the Nexus event has come to an end tomorrow, much of the attention will turn to the next LG event which is now scheduled to take place in New York on October 1st. Although, what is expected to be unveiled at the event remains somewhat of a mystery. There has been rumblings about a new V10 smartphone which is on the way from the company and then there has also been the more recently released LG Class which saw its debut just over a week ago in South Korea.

Whether next week’s event will be for the LG V10 or for the U.S. release of the LG Class, remains to be seen. Especially as LG has not claimed yet that the LG Class will be available outside of South Korea. Although, on that note, @evleaks has today taken to his Twitter account in the usual way and specifically noted that the LG Class is indeed on its way to the U.S. More specifically, it is on its way to AT&T. As such, if @evlakes is correct and the LG Class is coming to AT&T, then that very well might be one of the devices being announced next week.

In term of the specs, the LG Class comes with a 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 resolution. Inside, the LG Class is equipped with 2GB RAM and powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor (clocking at 1.2 GHz). In terms of memory, the LG Class offers 16GB internal storage, as well as the option to expand thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot (up to 2TB). Moving to the camera side of things and the LG Class comes loaded with a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. Additional features on offer include 4G LTE support, a 2,050 mAh battery and the device comes running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
