You all probably know that today is Google’s Nexus day. The Mountain View giant is holding a press conference in San Francsico where they will almost certainly announce the new LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P devices. Other announcements are also possible, like the new Chromecast for example, and the recently leaked Pixel C1 hybrid. That being said we’ve seen a ton of leaked specs and images of this device, and based on those designs, UNDERkg has created a non-functional prototype device, read on.
If you take a look at the embedded video down below, you’ll get to see the prototpye LG Nexus 5X smartphone. Now, keep in mind that this design is based entirely on leaks we’ve seen thus far, so it’s not an actual leak or anything of the sort. That being said, this is the mint colored variant of the device which has leaked recently, and the source actually compared the device to its predecessor, the LG Nexus 5 (2013). The video is about 3 and a half minutes long, so check it out if you’re interested.
That being said, let’s take a look at the probable specs of this device which leaked a number of times now. The LG Nexus 5X will probably sport a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor will fuel this smartphone, and a 2,700mAh battery will be available on the inside. The 12.3-megapixel shooter will be avaliable on the back of this hpone along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash and a Laser Autofocus. The device will also features a set of front-facing stereo speakers, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this device. The fingerprint scanner will be available below the rear-facing camera sensor, and a Type-C USB 3.0 port will be located on the bottom of the phone.
In addition to all this, the LG Nexus 5X is said to cost $379 (16GB variant), we still don’t have any info when it comes to the 32GB model. It is said that both Nexus devices will be available for pre-order starting today in the US, UK, Korea, Japan and Ireland. Stay tuned for official info, Google is holding their event later today.
