Oukitel A29 Is A Round Smartwatch With A SIM Card Support

Oukitel is one of many China-based smartphone manufacturer we’ve talked about recently. This is a very interesting company, they’re planning to release a smartphone which will pack in a 10,000mAh battery soon, and their U7 Pro handset will actually sport a mini projector on the inside. That being said, this smartphone OEM has also released one smartwatch thus far, the Oukitel A28, a watch that we’ve actually reviewed a couple of months ago. Well, the company has just unveiled yet another smartwatch, a direct successor to the Oukitel A28, the Oukitel A29.

The Oukitel A29 sports a circular display, as you can see in the provided image. The smartwatch is made out of metal, and it sports a leather strap it seems. Interestingly enough, you’ll be able to insert your micro SIM card inside this smartwatch and use its 2G connection capabilities for voice calls and what not. This smartwatch will be fueled by MediaTek’s MT2502C SoC along with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage. The 320mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it will last you 150 hours of standby time, 4 hours of talk time and you’ll be able to recharge it completely in 2 hours according to the company.

The Oukitel A29 is compatible with both Android and iOS, and you’ll be able to connect it to your smartphone using the watch’s Bluetooth 4.0 connection capabilities, The watch also packs in a heart rate monitor, pedometer and a sleep monitor. This smartwatch will be available in Gold, Black and Silver color options, all of which you can check out in the gallery down below along with the packaging of this smartwatch. The Oukitel A29 is still not available, but it will be soon.
