Samsung is well known for trying out new things in the tech business. The company’s ‘Galaxy Note’ project turned out to be a success back in 2001, and since then Samsung has tried all types of different designs, features and what not. A while back, we started hearing about the company’s huge Galaxy View tablet which is supposed to land sometime in the future. The tablet has first been certified in South Korea at the end of last month, and has surfaced on GFXBench not long after that. That being said, we have some alleged Galaxy View images to share with you, read on.
A number of real life images surfaced on SamMobile, and they’ll give you a real good look at this monstrous 18.4-inch device. Interesting enough, it is said that this will be Samsung’s first tablet not to sport a physical button, it seems like the company has opted for on-screen buttons this time around. This actually makes all the sense in the world considering this tablet is huge. This tablet is definitely not ordinary, its dock folds on the back, and you also get a handle that you can carry this device around like a briefcase, which will make the process a whole lot easier. Anyhow, if you’d like to take a closer look at the tablet, take a look at the gallery down below where you’ll find a number of images.
Anyhow, according to a GFXBench listing which leaked earlier, this tablet will sport an 18.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7580 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz along with a Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. The 2-megapixel shooter will be available up front for your selfies and video calls, while the tablet won’t sport a rear-facing camera, which was to be expected. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on the Galaxy View, and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI will be available on top of Google’s operating system. That’s pretty much it, the Galaxy View is expected to arrive before the end of the year, and considering the amount of info we’ve seen in the last month or so, it might happen really soon.
