More Images Of Upcoming Huawei Mate 8 Leak Online

Chinese electronics giant Huawei has been enjoying some newfound success lately, quickly making their way to the list of top smartphone manufacturers in the world. In fact, they have just recently achieved the third position in Q1 2015 – 4th if you consider Lenovo and Motorola together. There has been a lot of activity on the internet lately as the company is expected to launch a new phablet on November 26th, the giant Mate 8. Nothing is a secret anymore, as we’ve had several leaks showing some of its features and monster specs, and the company’s CEO himself confirmed that the device is on its way. Previous leaks revealed only its specs, but the newest ones included pictures, renders and even a short video clip showing the device on different angles. If you are a Huawei fan, rejoice, as we just got our hands on new leaked images showing the upcoming Mate 8 live and running.

Although the unit has a protective case to hide its final design, we can see the huge size and some important details, such as the rear-facing fingerprint scanner – just like the one on the Nexus 6P, and the thin bezels. The device features a gorgeous all-metal unibody design, and the hardware inside it is likely to take the handset to the top on performance, as it is powered by the monster HiSilicon Kirin 950 64-bit octa-core SoC, a processor made by Huawei itself, coupled with a Mali-T880 GPU for graphics and 4 GB of RAM. A recent leaked AnTuTu test revealed that the silicon piece had the highest benchmark score to date, which is really impressive. Of course, it is to be seen how the processor will behave on a daily usage, and most importantly, how it will handle power to provide a good battery life.

Additionally, the device will sport a 6-inch 1080p display, with a slightly curved glass on the sides. The camera ring on the back, which you can clearly see in the leaked images below, will house a 16 or 21-megapixel sensor with a dual-LED flash while the front camera will have an incredible 8-megapixel shooter, which should provide amazing selfies. The device is said to sport fast charging technology as well, which will be very welcome since its battery is likely to be huge. On the software side, the handset will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, probably coupled with the company’s signature Emotion UI on top of the system. As for the price, according to recent leaks, the 32 GB model will cost $520, while the 64 GB one will be priced at $610. There are rumors that Huawei will release a 128 GB version as well. The Mate 8 is right around the corner and November 26th is the day, just a week from now. Stay tuned for more news and check out the images below.
