Motorola Opening Moto Shop In Chicago On Nov 7

When looking to buy a mobile product like a smartphone or a smartwatch, it might be a good idea to hold it first and see how it feels against your skin or how it really looks in hand. After all, you’ll be using it quite a lot. To do so, you might go to a large electronics store or try some of the devices that carriers have on display in one of their stores. The problem is that these stores sell devices from many brands and manufacturers, so they all look kind of the same. It would be better if the stores were designed specifically to display a certain brand, as it would result in a more immersive and consistent experience. Even Google had considered opening a retail store to showcase their Nexus phones and Chromebooks, but those plans do not look to be materializing anytime soon.

Motorola, however, have now announced that they will open a Moto Store in downtown Chicago to showcase some of their products. The company has stated that this store is meant to provide a hands-on interactive experience and will create different environments for every product. Those who enter the store won’t be distracted by technical specification sheets and they will get to test some of the features of the showcased products instead. Moto Maker is the online tool for customizing some of the company’s offerings, and that is being transported to this store, as users will get to see all the different colors and feel the different textures of the various backs which could be integrated to their smartphones.

The Moto 360 is also available in this store and it’s being showcased with many different finishes and styles found on Moto Maker. To demonstrate the capabilities of the 21-megapixel camera of the Moto X Pure Edition, users can be photographed with some colorful objects in the Moto Shoot set. The recently announced Droid Turbo 2 features the world’s first shatterproof screen, so users can test this capability by dropping this phone in the Drop Zone – which has different types of flooring including concrete, ceramic and tiles. The opening day is November 7, but the grand opening celebration will be on November 14. The exact location is 108 N. State St. (Suite 140 at Block 37) and it will be open from 11 am to 8 pm daily, except on Sundays when it open from 11 am and close promptly at 6 pm.
