Oppo R7S Plus Gets Certified In China, 4GB Of RAM In Tow

Oppo is one of many China-based smartphone OEM, though Oppo is quite well known outside of China as well. This company has released a number of devices thus far, and their N1 and N3 devices are quite probably the most notable ones. These two smartphones sport rotating cameras, the second one’s camera is actually auto-rotated once you fire up the camera app. These are the two flagship devices by this company at the moment, but another rather interesting handset seems to be on the way. The Oppo-branded phablet has been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) recently, and it is packing really solid specifications, read on.

The Oppo R7S Plus has been certified by TENAA, and this handset will actually sport 4GB of RAM, which means it will be the first Oppo-branded phone to ship with that much RAM. Anyhow, the device will sport a 6-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display along with 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage. Now, this handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core SoC, while the Helio X10 (MT6795) variant is also possible it seems. The 13-megapixel shooter will be available on the back of this handset, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 4,100mAh battery is located on the inside of this handset, and Oppo’s VOOC Rapid Charge technology will be included here as well.

Now, the pricing of this handset is still not confirmed, nor is the device itself, but according to a report, the 4GB variant with the Snapdragon 615 included will cost 3,299 Yuan ($517) in China. Oppo isn’t exactly one of the most affordable China-based OEMs, as you can see by this pricing, even though it’s not confirmed at the moment. Now, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the Oppo R7S Plus in the flesh. It seems like the phone will sport really thin bezel on the sides, and Oppo’s branding will be included below the display. The fingerprint scanner will be located on the back of this phone, and below it you’ll be able to find the dual-LED, dual tone flash, and the fingerprint scanner. The Laser Autofocus will also be a part of this package, or at least it seems that way. The loudspeaker is also clearly visible in these images, it’s located on the bottom of the phone’s back.
