There are lots of deals available during the holiday season from some of the most shopped at retailers across the country, and this includes the various wireless providers we subscribe to every month for cell service and mobile data needs. While many of the deals have been on devices during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Cricket Wireless is offering up a new deal to subscribers as part of their monthly bill, coming in the form of a bill credit which is essentially putting money back in the pockets of those who have service with the company’s network. The offer is good all the way up to January 7th, so there is still some time to act and get in on the savings.
There are a couple of caveats, as Cricket notes that to get the bill credit which is good for $100 off subscriber’s monthly phone bills, they will have to be new customers who are switching to Cricket from another carrier, and they will need to bring over their phone number from the previous wireless carrier. Since this offer isn’t tailored towards existing customers, there are technically more savings to be had than just the bill credit, as those switching from another carrier may also be looking at spending less money per month on their phone bill for the service compared to where they’re switching from, although this will depend on how much they pay to their current subscribers.
If you’re planning on switching to Cricket Wireless to give it a try, the carrier notes that the $100 bill credit can be combined with other deals they have on offer, like the discounted prices on both the LG G Stylo and the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, in addition to the deals for some 4G LTE devices that are free after mail-in-rebate, which includes the ZTE Overture 2, the LG Risio, the Nokia Lumia 635, and the Motorola Moto E. All of these devices are entry-level and may not appeal to all subscribers, but if you simply want a decent device that won’t break the bank, they’re worth looking into. It’s also worth noting that the bill credit will apply to those adding new lines to their already existing account as long as they switch the number over from their previous carrier.
