Letv has become a really interesting company in the smartphone world quite fast actually. This China-based company has been around for quite some time now and is quite popular in China, but they’re quite new to the smartphone market. Letv has released their first smartphones back in April when they introduced the Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max handsets. These three devices, also called ‘Le Superphones’, have been selling quite well in China, and Letv is looking to expand its availability. The company has already confirmed that they’re going to enter the US market soon, during CES in January actually, which means we’ll see at least 1 smartphone launch during CES. Letv has already launched their LeMall online shop in the country, but are selling only accessories for the time being, smartphones and smart TVs are incoming.
That being said, Letv has also announced the Le 1s handset a couple of weeks back, and it seems like yet another Le Max variant is incoming. The Le Max Pro (X910) has popped up on both GFXBench and AnTuTu recently. The Letv Le Max Pro will sport a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will be fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC along with an Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The 21-megapixel snapper will be available on the back of this device, and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera will be placed on the front side of this device. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this device it seems, and Letv’s custom skin will be a part of the offering as well. It is also worth mentioning that the device has scored 133,357 points on AnTuTu thanks to the Snapdragon 820 SoC.
Now, we do expect this handset to visit TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) quite soon, so that we can get a confirmation of the listed specs, even though the specs seem spot on considering they’ve been confirmed by both AnTuTu and GFXBench. The Letv Le Max Pro actually seems like a device Letv has been teasing for quite some time now. This company has released two teasers for a Snapdragon 820-powered device which is about to be launched in January. So, you can expect this phone to be announced next month because the Snapdragon 820 SoC is still not available to OEMs.
