Moto G Turbo Edition Now Available In India For $217

Motorola has announced a couple of new devices this year, including their new Moto G handset (2015). This handset has been announced in two variants back in July, and Motorola actually announced its third variant last month, the Moto G Turbo Edition. This new variant of the Moto G handset is actually not all that different than the original, but it does sport a more powerful SoC. The original Moto G (3rd-gen) ships with the Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core SoC, while the ‘Turbo Edition’ comes with a Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor on the inside.

That being said, Motorola has announced that the Moto G Turbo Edition will roll out to some countries in Europe and Latin America, but they didn’t mention India during its launch. Well, the company has announced the other day that the phone will be arriving to India, and that’s exactly what happened today. Motorola has officially announced the Moto G Turbo Edition in India, the phone will be available in Black with DeepSea Blue back and White color options. The device is priced at Rs. 14,499 in India, and it will be available exclusively from Flipkart. The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel shooter can be found on its back, and there’s a 5-megapixel snapper available up front. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Moto G Turbo Edition, and it’s almost a stock build of the OS. The Moto G Turbo Edition also ships with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, and you’ll find a 2,470mAh battery on the inside, and it’s not removable.
