Oppo R7 Plus With 4GB Of RAM Now Available For Pre-Order

Oppo has announced a number of devices this year, though most of them are mid-range offerings. Oppo R7 Plus definitely belongs in that category, this smartphone was announced back in May following a ton of leaked material. That variant of the device sported 3GB of RAM on the inside, and it seems like Oppo is looking to step things up a bit. The company went official and announced yet another variant of the Oppo R7 Plus which is identical to its sibling in almost every way, the only difference is, this smartphone actually features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, read on.

The Oppo R7 Plus features a 6-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. This smartphone actually ships with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while its predecessor comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. You can expand upon Oppo R7 Plus’ internal storage via a microSD card if you want. The 13-megapixel snapper (Sony’s IMX214 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, dual-LED flash) can be found on the back of the Oppo R7 Plus, and an 8-megapixel shooter is located up front. The 4,100mAh battery is available on the inside as well, and Oppo’s VOOC Rapid Charge tech is also a part of this package. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this phone with Oppo’s Color OS 2.1 available on top of Google’s operating system. The device measures 158 x 82 x 7.75mm, while it weighs 192 grams.

The Oppo R7 Plus is made out of metal, and it sports a fingerprint scanner on its back. It is also worth mentioning that the device is available in yet another variant exclusive to China Unicom (Chinese carrier), and that variant is fueled by MediaTek’s Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit octa-core processor. Now, this new higher-end variant of the Oppo R7 Plus comes in Gold color options, and costs 3,299 Yuan ($514) in China, the China Unicom variant is priced at 2,999 Yuan ($483). This phablet is already available for a pre-order directly from Oppo, and will be available for open purchase in China later this month.
