Elephone has announced a total of 5 smartphones at their recent press event in China, and along with that, the company has also introduced their new smartwatch and the action camera. Elephone has unveiled the P9000 Edge bezel-less smartphone, along with its P9000 and P9000 Lite siblings. The Elephone M3 was also introduced, and the bezel-less Elephone S3 handset has been announced, even though not many details are known at this point. Elephone has also confirmed that they’re going to announce the Helio X20-powered P9000 Edge variant in the future. The Elephone W2 smartwatch has been rolled out as well, as did the Explorer Pro action camera.
That being said, the Elephone P9000 devices were announced on Friday, but their price was unknown at the time. Well, we’ve managed to get our hands on some additional information from the company, and now know the pricing of the P9000 and P9000 Lite, read on. The company says that the P9000 will cost $269.99, while those of you who participated in the company’s crowdfunding campaign will be able to get it for $219.99. The P9000 Lite, on the other hand, will cost $219.99, or $169.99 for crowdfunding backers. The pricing for the Elephone P9000 Edge was still not shared by the company, but we do expect this information to become available soon as well.
The Elephone P9000 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display by LG, while it is also equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This handset is fueled by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor, and it ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. The 13-megapixel shooter is placed on the phone’s back, and a fingerprint scanner is available below it. Elephone has introduced some software features along with the P9000 devices, like the Creative Smart Key & E-Touch features. The Elephone P9000 Lite, on the other hand, is quite similar to the P9000, but it doesn’t offer a fingerprint scanner, and sports a different sensor in its rear-facing shooter. The phone is still equipped with 4GB of RAM, Helio P10 SoC, and a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display though.
