Elephone has held a press conference in China earlier this month. This China-based company has introduced quite a bit of products during the event, not only did they announce four new smartphones (including a bezel-less one), but they’ve also unveiled an action cam, and a smartwatch. Speaking of which, the name of that smartwatch is W2, and it actually supports both iOS and Android. We’ve already talked about it at length, but the watch is now actually available for pre-order, read on.
The Elephone W2 has been listed on the company’s website for a while now, and its pricing has been revealed as well, but you can now actually pre-order it from GearBest if you’d like. The Elephone W2 smartwatch can be pre-ordered from GearBest for $79.99, which is actually the official price Elephone released a while back. The pre-orders last until February 5th, after which the watch will be shipped your way, and will quite probably be available for everyone to buy shortly after. The watch is available in Silver and Brown, and Brown and Golden color options. In case you’re interested, you can always check out the gallery down below to see these color options up close and personal.
The Elephone W2 smartwatch features a 1.61-inch display, while a 210mAh battery is available on the inside. The watch is waterproof up to 30 meters, and is compatible with iOS 7.0+ and Android 4.3+. The watch itself is made out of metal, and it ships with a leather band in the color you opt for. Bluetooth 4.0 is also a part of this package, and the watch comes with a third-party software pre-installed, so it’s not Android Wear, or anything of the sort. There are three physical buttons available on the watch, and all of them are placed on the right-hand side of the device, as you can see in the images down below. You’ll, of course, be able to get notifications on the watch, while there are a number of other functions built in here, ranging from alarm functions, to camera remote features. The watch comes equipped with a number of sensors as well, and it can track your sleep. In case you’re interested, and would like to pre-order one, follow the source link down below.
UPDATE: This watch is powered by a Button Cell battery, and comes without a charger. Elephone says that its battery can last up to 3 months.
