Samsung’s new ‘Galaxy S’ flagship(s) is expected to arrive at the end of February, and leaks and rumors just keep on coming. We’ve already seen a ton of various images, videos and rumors surface all over the internet, and it seems like that won’t stop anytime soon. A rather interesting video surfaced yesterday showing off a Galaxy S7 which was designed based on recent leaks. We’re here to take a look at some new images which surfaced quite recently as well, read on.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see a couple of renders showcasing the alleged Galaxy S7. Keep in mind that these are not real life images, even though it might seem like they are to some of you, but these are just renders. Now, looking at these images, you’ll notice that this handset sports a curved back, much like the one on the Galaxy Note 5. Now, in case you don’t remember, a couple of days ago a rumor surfaced saying that the Galaxy S7 will resemble the Note 5, and if these images are at all accurate, that will be the case. The shape of this phone’s back might also suggest that Samsung will opt for a somewhat bigger battery this time around, which would surely be welcomed. The Galaxy S7 Edge is expected to feature a similar design to the Galaxy S7, but you can expect its display to be curved on both sides, of course.
Now, according to a number of previous leaks, the Galaxy S7 will ship with a 5.1-5.2” display, 4GB of RAM and various internal storage variants. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 SoCs, Samsung allegedly plans to release both of those variants. The 12.2-megapixel shooter is said to be located on the back of the phone (BRITECELL?), though it is possible we’ll see a camera with far more pixels, nothing is confirmed yet. As far as the battery goes, we’re still not sure what size will it be, but we do expect it to be bigger than the one Samsung included in the Galaxy S6. The physical home button will be available below the display, as usual, and a fingerprint scanner will be built into it. The Galaxy S7 will sport a metallic frame, and it is quite likely that they’ll opt for glass both on the front and back of the device yet again.
