LG Unveiling K Series Smartphones At CES 2016

LG seemed to have adopted a new naming scheme with the introduction of the LG V10 and now, the company will introduce at CES 2016 a new series with advanced camera technology and premium UX features. The K series will make its debut with two models, the K7 and the K10. These phones feature a new nature-inspired “glossy pebble” design language which is meant to appeal to younger audiences. The new design features 2.5D Arc Glass, and it makes the surface look smooth and seamless as there are no buttons on the sides. The stylish design makes these phones look premium even if they are not priced as high.

The back cover of these phones features an intricate woven pattern, making them comfortable to hold and providing more grip. The screens of these phones are large enough for multimedia creation and consumption and they feature the most advanced cameras on their category. The software has been optimized to take advantage of these cameras, as they are controlled by gestures. Gesture Shot allows users to take pictures by raising an open hand in front of the lens and then closing it, so it makes it easy to take selfies. If users close their hand twice in front of the lens, Gesture Interval Shot will take four consecutive photos. Selfies taken in low-light conditions can also be enhanced by using Flash for Selfie.
