OnePlus 2 With 3GB Of RAM & 16GB Of Storage Hits India

OnePlus has introduced two smartphones last year, their new flagship, the OnePlus 2, and the company’s OnePlus X mid-ranger. Now, both of these devices have been available out in the market for quite some time, and both fo them started off as invite-only items, in other words, you needed an invite to purchase either one of them. Well, the OnePlus 2 has been available for open-sale (invite-free) for quite some time now, and OnePlus X actually joined it yesterday.

That being said, OnePlus has more news to share with us it seems, and you’ll appreciate this particular piece of news if you live in India. As you might know, OnePlus has introduced two variants of OnePlus 2 at launch, the 3GB of RAM + 16GB of internal storage model, and 4GB of RAM + 64GB of native storage variant. Now, only the higher-end variant has been available initially, and the lower end variant has now been officially announced in India by OnePlus. The higher-end variant went on sale in the country back in August for Rs. 24,999 ($368), and even though the lower-end model is a bit late, it is now available for Rs. 22,999 ($339). The 13-megapixel shooter (OIS, Laser Autofocus, 1.3um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture) is available on the back fo this phone, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter is also a part of the package. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and Oxygen OS is placed on top of Google’s operating system. The fingerprint scanner is also available here, and is located below the display. The 3,300mAh battery fuels this smartphone, and the phone measures 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85mm, while it weighs 175 grams.
