T-Mobile To Offer Half Off BOGO Promo On Devices Tomorrow

After having recently ended its promotion which gave subscribers 4 lines of service with 6GB of shared data for $140 a month, T-Mobile is kicking off a new promotion for customers tomorrow it looks like, only this time around it won’t be focused on wireless plan pricing and instead will be completely centered on smartphones. According to some new leaked documents, it appears as if T-Mobile is going to be holding a buy one get one half off promotion on smartphones starting from tomorrow, which will allow customers to buy one smartphone at full cost while the other can be purchased for 50% off. As with all promotions, there are sure to be some restrictions, i.e. only certain phones are included in the promo for example.

In fact, that’s exactly the case as only a handful of smartphones are included, and aside from the iPhone models on offer, the only Android devices which qualify to be the “buy one phone” are the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the LG G4, and the LG V10. That means it can be any one of those above listed devices with one of them being purchased at full cost while the second device, (which could be the same phone as the first or any of the others listed here) comes in at 50% off. Sadly, this promotion doesn’t include the recently launched BlackBerry Priv.

It’s important to note that the purchases will have to be made with a requirement of service, so customers will need to have a plan to attach these to whether the phones are paid for in full or split up in EIP payments over the monthly bill along with the regular monthly charges. Having said that, the details do seem to suggest that either payment method is fine so long as you have a plan. T-Mobile looks to be offering this to both new subscribers as well as those who already subscribe to their service, so no one seems to be locked out here. The only other caveat besides a limited list of qualifiable devices, is that whatever manufacturer you pick for the first phone has to be the manufacturer for the second phone as well. This does mean that those who want a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ can get any other Samsung phone on offer for this promo at the 50% off, but not one Samsung device and say, the LG V10. Lastly, the 50% price is applied by T-Mobile to the least expensive of the two, and each phone purchased needs an active line attached to it.
