Life gets busy and sometimes that causes us to miss out on some of the latest news about the topics we’re interested in. Sony officially announced that the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact would be launching in the U.S. soon, but then it was also later revealed that the U.S. models would not feature the fingerprint sensor like the models sold everywhere else.

Long awaited support for promo codes on the Play Store from developers has finally been introduced, and in a somewhat shocking reveal, Samsung will be manufacturing the Snapdragon 820 processor. Google also revealed the dates for their upcoming annual developer conference Google I/O, and it was learned that Alphabet executive Eric Schmidt would be meeting with the pope in the near future. While the amount of functionality for smartwatches and wearables is steadily growing, Ford recently announced that they’re currently working on cars which will be able to read the driver via their wearables.
