Tomorrow will see a number of companies making their respective announcements ahead of the official start of MWC 2016 on Monday. However, much of the focus tomorrow will be on Samsung as they take to the stage to unveil their next S series smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. These are devices which have been the subject of massive speculation of late and even more so over the last couple of days with a number of big leaks coming through, including the large gallery of Galaxy S7 and S7 images we published.
With only hours to go until the big event finally begins, it now seems as though another big leak is occurring and this time one which comes in the form of a four minute video. The new video which has made its way onto YouTube today is a Spanish preview of the Galaxy S7 Edge and seems to show the smartphone in all its glory. The video seems to be taken at MWC and the device is shown in very clear detail. Not to mention, the Galaxy S7 Edge is shown throughout the video while powered on. As a result, the video offers a great view of the general layout, features on board and other software tweaks, including a number of the dedicated Edge functions that are on offer. Not to mention, quite a detailed look at the ‘Always On’ functionality and how the clock used during Always On can be further customized.
In addition, the video does look to provide confirmation on a number of the specs of the smartphone. In particular, confirming the model on show comes equipped with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, as well as also coming equipped with a microSD card for further expansion (up to 200GB). The rear camera on offer does also seem to be confirmed as a 12-megapixel camera, in line with most of the rumors that has come through. Speaking of which, the video does again seem to confirm that the rear camera is far less protruding than on the previous model, another aspect which is in line with most of the current rumors and leaks.
