At MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Samsung is hosting their unpacked event and have now introduced the two newest members of the Galaxy S family, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. These are two of the most anticipated devices of the year and ones which will be in high-demand going forward. As well as their more formal introduction, Samsung has also provided some details on their general availability for consumers in the U.S.

Specific carrier details are not quite available just yet, although, these are details which will be coming through and likely before today is out. Those announcements will include specific on and off contract prices and availability for each carrier. However, Samsung has now confirmed that both devices will be available to pre-order starting from 8am (EST) on Feb 23.  Although, the two devices will only be in a pre-order status, those thinking of placing orders will not have to wait too long as Samsung has also confirmed that pre-orders will begin shipping from March 11 in the U.S. Going back to the carriers briefly, Samsung has confirmed that both devices will be available in the U.S. through AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless. So picking up from your carrier of choice will not be an issue with either device. Even earlier sneak peeks will be available from Samsung Experience Shops at Best Buy from February 24. Last but not least, it is worth mentioning that Samsung has also confirmed that those who purchase either device between Feb 23 and March 18 will receive a free Samsung Gear VR headset, as well as a 6-game bundle which Samsung claims to be worth $150 in value. Of course, this particular promotion is a “while supplies last” promotion
