Meizu’s upcoming smartphone, the Pro 6, has been through a few leaks lately which have shown off the design of the phone prior to its unveiling and official announcement, but then again this is something which isn’t really new to the smartphone world, as leaks tend to happen with just about any flagship or near-flagship device from well-known brands. In leaks earlier last week, the alleged Meizu Pro 6 design was shown off, displaying what appears to be a metal back with a white glass front, a home button, and a large rear-facing camera with a middle placement and an LED flash just below the camera sensor. This is a similar design to past Meizu Pro devices so it’s been somewhat believable.
A leak earlier from this morning described how the Meizu Pro 6 would be the first smartphone to come powered by MediaTek’s Helio X25 processor, pumping out power from an unheard of (in smartphones at least) 10-core setup. The latest leak, which contains a screenshot image of 3D graphics benchmark test results from over at GFXBench, shows that the Meizu Pro 6 may indeed be equipped with the deca-core Helio X25 Processor. Other details from this morning’s leak, like the amount of RAM, weren’t revealed but the benchmark leak seems to give off those details, stating 2.7GB and 3.7GB of RAM, suggesting that there may be two models of the phone, one which comes with 3GB of RAM and one with 4GB of RAM for those who may want to have more, or it could just be 4GB of RAM in a single model only.
The benchmark test results also state that the Meizu Pro 6 will come running Android 6.0 software out of the box, although those familiar with Meizu’s handsets should know that Marshmallow will be lying underneath Meizu’s own Flyme OS UI skin. The Meizu Pro 6 will also come sporting a 4.6-inch Full HD display, 25GB of internal storage which is more likely 32GB (25GB being what may have been available during these tests), and other potential specifications like a 4.7MP front-facing camera, as well as a 20MP rear-facing camera that’s capable of recording 4K video. For now these specs are just rumors until they’re confirmed by Meizu, but the device is shaping up to be a competitive looking smartphone.
