No matter how much people love being outdoors or going out for a good time, almost everyone loves to stay in and watch a good movie once in a while. Thanks to the evolution of technology and the seemingly countless ways to watch films, putting on a movie to watch is easier than it’s ever been, and for Android users one of the simplest ways to watch movies is to stream them from Google’s Play Movies app right from their device, now conveniently part of T-Mobile’s Binge On service. Although you can purchase movies through the Play Movies app, you can also rent them for a time, and now and again Google tosses out a good deal to save some money on rentals. Right now users have access to one of those great deals, as Google is handing out movie rentals for 75% off the original rental price.
In recent past movie rental savings offers, Google allowed some pretty steep discounts, but they were only applicable to a pre-selected list of titles which Google themselves picked. With this current offer, however, Google is allowing 75% off any movie rental of your choice, meaning you should be able to pick up any movie you choose as the savings applies to all movies store-wide. Of course, Google still has a pre-selected list of choices for users this time around too, but they’re only tossing them out as suggestions and mention that the discount applies to any movie you can find within the service that’s available to rent.
The only downside here is that not all films will see the discount, but only because not every single movie in the store can be a rental, as some are only available for purchase. Back in the beginning of February for example, movies like Black Mass were only available to buy, so in cases like that this discount wouldn’t have applied. The same is true now for any movie that you can only purchase although many of the most popular films can all be picked up for a rental, save for some of the most recent movies to hit the Play Store. If you’re looking at grabbing a rental without having to spend the full price for SD or HD quality, then all you have to do is head to the Play Store, find a movie you can and want to rent, and simply redeem the offer which is applied at checkout by April 28th to make sure you get the savings. This gives users plenty of time to decide on a film or wait for something that might be coming out soon, and with devices like Chromecast and Android TV, streaming these movies has never been simpler.
