Helio X25-Powered Meizu PRO 6 Scores 99,948 Points On AnTuTu

Meizu PRO 6 has been leaking out like crazy in the last couple of weeks. A number of rumors and leaks surfaced, while the company already confirmed that the device will sport a 1080p display, Helio X25 64-bit deca-core processor and a pressure sensitive display. The Meizu PRO 6 has surfaced on GFXBench quite recently, and more or less confirmed its spec sheet. Well, this phablet has just popped up on AnTuTu as well, read on.

MediaTek hosted an event quite recently, during which the company not only re-announced the Helio X20 SoC, but also unveiled another variant of that chip, the Helio X25. These two chips are almost identical, though the Helio X25 does offer higher clock speed (amongst other improvements), and can be considered somewhat more powerful than the regular chip. Both MediaTek and Meizu have confirmed that the Meizu PRO 6 will be fueled by this SoC, and interesting enough, they said that the PRO 6 will have exclusive rights to this SoC for a certain period of time. That being said, the Helio X25-powered Meizu PRO 6 has been benchmarked by AnTuTu, and managed to score 99,948 points during testing. Now, this is a more impressive score than what Mate 8 (powered by Kirin 950) offered, that handset scored 94,250 points during the same test. Benchmarks are not exactly the best way to tell how capable a certain processor is, there are a number of factors to factor in, but judging by AnTuTu, the Helio X25 will be a very, very capable processor.

That being said, the Meizu PRO 6 will quite probably sport a fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED panel, along with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. Now, this phone is probably going to sport a rather large display, contrary to what GFXBench reported yesterday. The phone will be fueled by the Helio X25 SoC, along with the ARM Mali-T880 GPU for graphics. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is said to come pre-installed on the device, and on top of it, you’ll find Meizu’s Flyme OS. The 20-megapixel snapper is going to be placed on the back of Meizu PRO 6, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be included up front.
