Huawei was one of the most successful smartphone manufacturers last year. The company has managed to sell 109 million smartphones in 2015, and even become the world’s third largest smartphone manufacturer. Huawei is looking to improve upon that this year, and is expected to introduce their first high-end smartphones on April 6th. The company has already announced a press event which will take place in London, and judging by a number of released teasers, Huawei will announce the Huawei P9, and quite possibly the P9 Lite and P9 Max smartphones.
We’ve seen quite a few Huawei P9 leaks thus far, though we still don’t now much about the Huawei P9 Lite and P9 Max. Well, luckily for us, several new leaks popped up online, and revealed more info when it comes to the Huawei P9 Lite. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see quite a few renders of the (alleged) device, including its images, while there’s also a video embedded down below. This video basically showcases the renders you’ll get to see in the gallery, and is created by a third-party designer based on the leaked content. Now, as you can see, the Huawei P9 Lite won’t sport a dual camera setup as the Huawei P9, at least according to this leaked info. The phone will, however, going to sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and will be made out of metal. This smartphone is expected to sport a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM. This device will be fueled by a mid-range SoC, but we still don’t know which one. Now, as far as its rear-facing camera goes, we’re probably looking at a 13-megapixel sensor, though that’s just an educated guess based on the Huawei P9 leaks.
The Huawei P9 Lite will be the most affordable Huawei P9 handset the company will introduce on April 6th. The Huawei P9 will be a high-end smartphone, the Huawei P9 Max a premium phablet, which makes the Huawei P9 Lite the company’s mid-range offering, though a very well-specced mid-ranger.
