Meizu PRO 6 Could Cost $462, According To A Leaked Document

Meizu PRO 6 has been leaking left and right in the last couple of weeks. Meizu’s upcoming flagship was expected to be announced in the third quarter of this year, but judging by the amount of rumors and leaks we’re getting, that phablet might arrive sooner than expected. Meizu is holding two events next month, and even though we still don’t know what will the company announce, the Meizu PRO 6 is definitely a possibility, as is the M3 Note which has been surfacing quite frequently lately as well.

Anyhow, the Meizu PRO 6 has popped up on AnTuTu, Geekbench and GFXBench in the last day or so, and thanks to those listings, we more or less know what will its specs look like. The company has already confirmed that the device will sport a fullHD pressure sensitive display, and that it will be fueled by the all-new Helio X25 64-bit deca-core SoC by MediaTek. Well, on top of all that, it seems like the PRO 6 pricing just leaked out. If you take a look at the image down below, you’ll get to see Li Nan’s alleged e-mail to Meizu employees. Li Nan, for those of you who don’t know, is Meizu’s VP, and this e-mail reveals the pricing of Meizu’s PRO 6 flagship. According to the document, the PRO 6 will be priced at 2,999 Yuan ($462), which means it will be somewhat more expensive than the Mi 5, but still quite affordable. Keep in mind this info is not confirmed, of course, so take it with a grain of salt.

Now, according to various benchmark listings and leaks, the Meizu PRO 6 will feature a fullHD (1920 x 1080) pressure sensitive display, though we still don’t know how big will it be. If the Meizu PRO 5 is any indication, the PRO 6’s display will be 5.7-inches big. The device will ship with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. MediaTek’s Helio X25 64-bit deca-core processor will fuel this handset, along with the Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The 21-megapixel snapper will be available on the back of the PRO 6, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be available up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the PRO 6, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find Meizu’s very own Flyme UI.
