Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are quite possibly the two most popular Android phones out there at the moment. These are the two flagship smartphones Samsung has introduced last month during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and judging by the reactions by the community, Samsung did a good job this year as well, and has managed to raise the hype. Anyhow, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are still not available for purchase, some users who pre-ordered the device did get it already, but others will have to wait until March 11th (in select regions).
Samsung has launched these two handsets in China quite recently, and India followed soon after. This Korea-based tech giant has just unveiled their new flagships in India as well. Samsung has said that the two devices will be available in India in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium color variants. The 32GB variant of the Galaxy S7 is priced at Rs. 48,900 ($725), while the 32GB model of the Galaxy S7 Edge costs Rs. 56,900 ($844) in India. Those of you who are interested in getting either of these two handsets, click here in order to pre-order one today. Pre-orders will be available from today until March 17th, and the two devices will be available for open sale on March 18th. Now, those of you who opt to pre-order either of the two smartphones will get a free Gear VR headset, which might be enough to persuade you to do so. It is also worth mentioning that the devices whip with double voice and data offer from Vodafone RED customers for 6 months, just in case you’re a Vodafone customer.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are both made out of metal and glass, and both sport QHD Super AMOLED panels (Always-On feature included). The Galaxy S7 features a smaller 5.1-inch display, while the Galaxy S7 Edge ships with a 5.5-inch panel. The two devices are fueled by the Exynos 8890 64-bit octa-core SoC in India, and both will ship out with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed, with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it. The 12-megapixel ‘Dual-Pixel’ snapper is placed on the back of these two phones, and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The IP68 rating for water and dust resistance is also included here, while both devices sport fast wired and wireless charging.
