Qihoo 360 is a well-known China-based company which you’ve probably already heard of. Well, the company has actually launched a sub-brand of sorts called ‘QiKU’ last year. QiKU has released three handsets last year, and the most notable announcement was the QiKU Q Terra flagship. That being said, Qihoo 360 has actually announced a new device called 360 F4 last month, and as you can see, there is no QiKU mention in its naming. QiKU basically rebranded to 360 Mobile, and we’ll see more 360-branded smartphone released in the future.
That being said, this company has introduced yet another device earlier today, the 360 F4 Pro. This is essentially a higher-end variant of the 360 F4 that was announced last month. The 360 F4 Pro sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This smartphone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, and it sports a 13-megapixel snapper on the back. The device comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and it runs the company’s 360 OS on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The rest of the specs seem to be identical to the regular 360 F4. So the main difference between these two devices seem to be the RAM and internal storage count. The 360 F4 Pro sports a 2,500mAh battery, and is made out of metal. The device will be available in Black, White, Gold, Pink and Blue color options, while it will be priced at 799 Yuan ($123).
This handset was mentioned during the 360 F4 launch, but the company did not mention this handset will have a different name. Either way, there you have it, the 360 F4 Pro is not official as well, and it will be available for purchase in China soon. To be more precise, the 360 F4 Pro will go on sale during the Spring Festival sale which begins on April 5th, and the sale will last until April 8th. 360 Mobile has announced that they will partner up with a number of offline retailers in order to offer this handset to as many people as possible. The company did not say whether they intend on launching this handset outside of China or not, but we have a feeling it might launch in India in the coming weeks.
