Huawei’s upcoming P9 flagship has been all over the news in the last couple of weeks. The company’s smartphone will be announced on April 6th, and we’ve seen tons of leaks thus far. The Huawei P9 will resemble its predecessor quite a bit, though this time around we’ll get the Dual Camera setup on the back of the device, and the company’s exec has already confirmed that the company partnered up with Leica in order to bring an even better camera to their upcoming handset. That being said, Huawei is expected to introduce three devices on April 6th, the Huawei P9, and its two siblings, the P9 Lite and P9 Max.
That being said, a yet another Huawei P9 leak surfaced online recently, this time around we get to see the allegedly official press render of the Huawei P9. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the aforementioned Dual Camera setup, and also Leica’s branding in the upper right corner. The LED flash is also present here, and same can be said for the Laser Autofocus, and the fingerprint scanner which is located on the back as well. Huawei’s branding can be found in the lower portion of the phone’s back, and the antennas are quite visible here as well, both on the bottom of the device, and also in the upper portion of it. Both the power / lock and volume rocker physical buttons are placed on the right side of this smartphone, and the 3.5mm headphone jack seems to be located on the bottom of this phone. The metal build is also quite noticeable in this image.
The Huawei P9 will, allegedly, sport a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, and will ship in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. The 3GB RAM model is expected to ship with 32GB of internal storage, while the 4GB RAM variant will be accompanied by 64GB of native storage. The device will be fueled by the Kirin 955 64-bit octa-core processor, and Android Marshmallow is expected to be available out of the box, along with the company’s Emotion UI (EMUI) Android skin.
