Platformer Game 'Never Alone' To Hit Android As Ki Edition

If you like puzzle platformers and you play games on the PC or on consoles, you may already be familiar with the game Never Alone. It’s filled with adventure and was praised for its rich storytelling capabilities as well as its optional co-op mode that allowed friends and family to play the game together, where one person plays the main role of a little Iñupiat girl called Nuna, while the other takes up the role of her furry little friend named Fox. The game tasks players with finding the source of an eternal blizzard, and to find it you’ll have to travel across the arctic. Now, E-Line Media and Upper One Games have partnered up with Tic Toc Games to bring Never Alone to Android.

The game will be known as Never Alone Ki Edition, and although it will be the same great adventure that the original was known for, it will have mobile specific features like brand-new touch controls, as well as all new hints and menus that were designed with mobile in mind. The graphics have also been optimized for mobile devices to make the most of their processing power so Never Alone looks its very best on the smaller screens.

Technically, this won’t be Never Alone’s true first time on Android, as it was already available for the NVIDIA SHIELD devices as an exclusive. Having said that, Never Alone Ki Edition will be a brand-new offering separate from that version of the game and finally expand the richness and wonder of its experience to a much wider audience. Ki Edition includes all of the levels in the original game so nothing is left out, and it also includes a Cultural Insight video which can be unlocked through gameplay that contains interviews from the community of Alaska Natives that the culture of the story is based on. Never Alone Ki Edition is also part of the Google Play Early Access program so players who are interested in checking it out will be able to do so prior to a full launch once Early Access opens up, and the game is set for launch on the Play Store globally next month on June 23rd. At the moment, there is no mentioned price point.
