Carriers in the U.S. are always thinking up ingenious ways to win over the next influx of customers joining the mobile market and those looking to switch carriers, while also looking to offer their customers a better deal than they can get elsewhere, in the hope of maintaining their already established customer-base. Sprint is no exception and although it is a carrier which has seemed to struggle of late, it has been coming up with new ways to bring customers over to their network. One of which garnered quite the considerable attention on social media due to it being a deal, but not really seemingly like it was a deal.
This was of course, Sprint’s Amazon Prime deal. If you missed the earlier coverage then to put it simply, Sprint was offering its customers the ability to include an Amazon Prime membership with their Sprint plan for only $10.99 more per month. However, the issue many had with the promotion is that Amazon prime only costs $99 a year, so $11 a month was more than you would pay over the course of the year for the same service when ordered directly from Amazon.
Well, if you happen to be thinking of moving to Sprint and are in need of a serious data allowance, then Sprint is now offering a deal on their data-heavy Better Choice XXL plan. This is a plan which comes with a 40GB data allowance, as well as unlimited talk and text and will currently set you back $100 per month. However from today, this plan will now come loaded with an Amazon Prime membership (for twelve months) for free. Essentially, an $11 saving per month from Sprint or of course, a $99 saving per year from Amazon. According to the details from Sprint, this is an offer which is open to both existing customers who switch to the Better Choice XXL Plan (which is now being dubbed the ‘Amazon Better Choice XXL’ plan) or those who switch over to Sprint from another network.
