The OnePlus 3 is one of the most anticipated smartphones this year. This handset will be announced on June 15th in China, and it will be available starting June 16th, said OnePlus. Unlike its predecessors, the OnePlus 3 will be invite-free from the get-go, and the latest report said that the company will have 1 million OnePlus 3 units to sell on June 16th. This smartphone has surfaced a number of times thus far, it has been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) already, and it has also been listed on OppoMart quite recently. That being said, some additional OnePlus 3 images popped up online quite recently, read on.
Chances are you’re already familiar with OnePlus 3’s design, but in case you’d like to take a look at some additional images of this device, you can do so by scrolling down to the gallery. Four new images of the device surfaced online, and it seems like the phone is in some sort of a transparent case here. Either way, this design goes hand-in-hand with the ones we’ve seen earlier, and this here is the Gray variant of the smartphone. The power / lock button is placed on the right-hand side of this phone, and so is the SIM card tray. The three-stage alert slider is located on the phone’s left-hand side, above the volume rocker buttons. This smartphone is made out of metal, and it will ship with a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, at least if previous info is to be believed. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor will fuel OnePlus’ new flagship, and the device will ship with either 4GB of 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The 16-megapixel OIS camera will be available on the back of the OnePlus 3, and an 8-megapixel shooter will be placed up front. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will come pre-installed here with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS available on top of it. The fingerprint scanner will be located below the display, and the phone will also offer two SIM card slots.
There you have it. We still don’t know how much will this smartphone cost, but if rumors are to be believed, the 4GB RAM (32GB storage) variant will cost 1,999 Yuan ($307), while you’ll have to splash out 2,499 Yuan ($384) for the 6GB RAM (64GB storage) variant.
