The OnePlus 3 is OnePlus’ latest smartphone, and at the same time their new flagship. This handset seems to be a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 2, and despite the fact it comes with premium specifications and build, it costs only $399 in the US (price is comparable in other markets as well). We’ve already reviewed this smartphone, and it seems like the device has plenty to offer in pretty much every aspect, and the recently released torture test only proves how well-built this handset is.
That being said, OnePlus had introduced two color variants of the OnePlus 3, Graphite and Soft Gold. Now, only the Graphite color option is currently available for purchase, though the Soft Gold is expected to become available next month as well. OnePlus did not say if they intend to release any more color variants of this smartphone, but a Red variant of the device might be on the way as well, at least according to the latest leak. The red-colored OnePlus 3 surfaced on OnePlus’ official website in China, at least according to the source. The screenshot of this listing is attached to the source tweet, and it seems like the red OnePlus 3 was listed on the site for a short time. The render of this smartphone is also attached, as you can see. The phone looks quite interesting in red, and even though this color variant might not be for everyone, it would give consumers yet another option when choosing their OnePlus 3 device, and some of them would certainly be interested in this color option. We’ll see what happens in the future, stay tuned.
