Top 10: Android News Stories – June 5th, 2016

The past week has revealed some interesting news in the Android world, as Huawei has now been rumored to be making a Nexus device this year, which could be in addition to the Nexus devices that are rumored to be coming from HTC or it could be in place of such devices. It’s also been rumored that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is set to launch in just a couple of months from now, which would put the launch in August and, if correct, it would typically be a bit earlier than what Samsung is used to with the Galaxy Note announcements as they normally happen in September when Samsung holds their next Unpacked event.

T-Mobile scheduled their next Uncarrier event this past week which is slated to take place tomorrow, on June 6th, and Honda revealed their self-driving cars at a test track in Concord, California. OnePlus’ upcoming device, which will be the OnePlus 3, was recently leaked with 6GB of RAM onboard, and while the OnePlus 3 specifications have not been confirmed by OnePlus just yet, they have confirmed that the OnePlus 3 will be invite free when it launches. Samsung also officially announced their new wearables, the Gear Fit2, and the Gear IconX which are their truly wireless earbuds.
