Today at VidCon, YouTube has announced a new set of tools and features that will be making their way to the platform for content creators as part of their new and improved Creator Hub. The teams at YouTube are all about helping creative individuals and anyone who wants to create content for the platform make the most of the tools they have at their disposal, and today’s announcement is a way for YouTube to further extend their support for creators. Google highlights that more than a thousand creators cross the 1,000 subscribers mark on a daily basis, and these new features are designed to help boost the support that creators already receive.
One of the things that creators will be able to look forward to is a redesigned Creator Hub where they’ll be able to get all kinds of help and tips on how to make their video content the very best that it can be. The redesigned creator hub is available in 23 languages giving it a decent range of support for people in different global regions. In addition to the newly redesigned Creator Hub, YouTube is also launching a benefits program called YouTube for Creators which will allow YouTubers to unlock various levels of rewards and other features as they reach certain milestones in their subscriber numbers, including levels of benefits for 0, 1,000, and 10,000 subscribers.
As an example of what creators can expect to unlock, after reaching 10,000 subscribers they’ll earn the chance to shoot their videos at YouTube spaces, unlock channel consultation, the ability to become an ambassador, and more. After reaching 100,000 subscribers, creators will gain their own partner manager, as well as other things like getting official play button plaques that they can hang on the wall or set on a desk to commemorate the achievement. Also part of the new tools, YouTube states that they have expanded one-on-one support for creators on a massive level allowing all creators who have joined the Partner Program to get the answers to their questions either through email or via YouTube from a live person. These new tools for creators follow other recent changes to YouTube, like the all-new Live Stream option that is on its way to the YouTube mobile app, and the new TV series that was just picked up by YouTube Red.
