Meizu MX6 Pops Up On Geekbench With A Helio X20 & 4GB Of RAM

Meizu’s CEO shared his thoughts regarding the upcoming Meizu MX6 via an internal memo recently, and judging by its content, the company’s CEO isn’t all too happy with the device’s design due to the fact it resembles the PRO 6 way too much. Well, that won’t stop Meizu from releasing this smartphone it seems, the phone’s real life images surfaced quite recently, and the device had also been spotted on AnTuTu last week. The company had already set a release date for the Meizu MX6, the device will arrive on July 19th, and it seems like this is a point of no return when it comes to announcing this device.

That being said, the Meizu MX6 looks really nice actually, even though Meizu’s CEO might be right, it’s time for the company to change up their design language a little bit, and we might see that happen when they introduce the Meizu PRO 7 later this year. Having that in mind, the Meizu MX6 surfaced yet again, this time around it popped up on Geekbench. The Meizu MX6 managed to score 1,822 points in the single-core, and 5,183 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. The listing reveals that the device is fueled by MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, and that it packs in 4GB of RAM. Android 6.0 Marshmallow has also been listed here, and even though the listing doesn’t mention it, you’ll also get Meizu’s Flyme UI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Now, in addition to what you can see here, you can also add some info we’ve seen on AnTuTu recently. The Meizu MX6 will sport a 13-megapixel camera on the back (despite the fact a 12-megapixel shooter is listed on AnTuTu), and a 5-megapixel shooter up front. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while it is also quite likely it will pack in a 4,000mAh battery. The phone will be made out of metal, and it will sport the physical mBack key below the display. That key will not only be the phone’s physical home key, but also a capacitive back key, and a fingerprint scanner.
