Lots has happened in the world of Android over the past week, including a decent number of rumors and leaks revolving around Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7 phablet, the company’s second flagship device series which makes its debut in the second half of the year. This past week, the Galaxy Note 7 showed up on two different benchmarking systems, once on the Geekbench website, and once on AnTuTu, each revealing some telling details about the device, suggesting that it will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat, as well as coming with 4GB of RAM instead of the previously rumored 6GB, and that it would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU.

Samsung also made the Olympic Games Edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge official this past week, and it was rumored that the announcement of the Galaxy Note 7 could come along with the announcement of a new Gear VR device.
