Back in January this year, Elephone had introduced three P9000 devices, the Elephone P9000, P9000 Lite and P9000 Edge. The Elephone P9000 and P9000 Lite have been available out in the market for quite some time now, while the Elephone P9000 Edge with a curved display never really became available for purchase. Over the past couple of months, Elephone had opted to change the name of the Elephone P9000 Edge, that handset is now called the Elephone S7, and it resembles Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge quite a bit. In any case, the Elephone S7 is expected to become available for purchase really soon, and the company has decided to share two new video teasers for this smartphone, read on.
There are two video clips embedded down below for you to check out. The first video basically shows off the phone’s display in action. If you take a look at this video, you’ll notice that the device has a curved display, and this clip also confirms that we’re looking at a 5.5-inch fullHD panel here. The second clip is much shorter, and it lets you take a look at the back side of the Elephone S7, while it also confirms that the phone will be available in both Green and Purple color variants. The Elephone S7 will, much like the Galaxy S7 Edge, be made out of metal and glass. Glass panels will be included on both the back and front side of the Elephone S7, while you’ll be able to find a metallic chassis in between them. The power / lock and volume rocker keys will be included on the right-hand side of the Elephone S7, just in case you were wondering.
Aside from a 5.5-inch 1080p display, the Elephone S7 is also expected to ship 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The fingerprint scanner will be included below the phone’s display, and a 16-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of the Elephone S7. The 8-megapixel snapper will be included up front, and MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor will fuel this smartphone. This phone will also sport a Type-C USB port on its bottom, which will be flanked by two sets of speakers, hopefully. The phone will ship with cutouts for speakers on both sides, though it is possible Elephone intends to include only one speaker here, and place a microphone only on the other side, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
