iTrip Clip Turns Any Pair of Headphones Wireless

Do you have a pair of premium headphones you cannot connect via an adaptor to your smartphone? – or do you have a smartphone (Moto Z series) that has done away from a headphone jack? It is no problem with iTrip Clip – Griffin Technology’s new Bluetooth v4.1 Audio Adapter. Such a wonderfully simple design concept that costs only $19.99 that adds a powerful solution to cut those nasty cables. There are no more cables between your smartphone and earphones while iTrip Clip still allows you to have control of your music.

As smartphones become thinner, the 3.5mm jack may become the casualty as is the case with the new Moto Z, where you must always have that USB Type-C-to-3.5mm jack adapter with you all of the time. The iTrip Clip literally clips onto your belt or pants to connect your smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth to your earphones. It is so small that it can be clipped onto a visor or hat while exercising or clip it onto a sleeve or you pocket while in the office. You only need to pair it up once, and iTrip Clip will reconnect automatically the next time you are within 30 feet. iTrip Clip gives you control of the volume, play, pause, and skip a track forward or backward. Andrew Biddle, Category Manager of Power at Griffin said that any 3.5mm headphones can still be used even if the jack is eliminated on your new smartphone. But more than that, “it also puts the convenience of a Bluetooth sound system into any car.” Even if your car stereo does not offer Bluetooth as long as there is an AUX to listen plug, iTrip Clip will connect any smartphone wirelessly to your vehicle’s radio.

Besides the play, volume, and track controls, there is also an integrated mic to receive calls and easily access Google Now, and other voice recognition apps. The iTrip Clip will be available in September for $19.99 and comes with an adapter that has a rechargeable Li-ion battery. They claim it will give you up to 6 hours play/talk time and 180 hours on standby. Out-of-the-box you get the iTrip Clip, a microUSB charge cable, and a user manual. The iTrip Clip measures a mere 31.75mm (1-1/4 inches) width x 45.2mm (1.78-inches) height x 17.2mm (.68-inches) deep and weighs in at only 1.41 grams or .05 oz. The iTrip Clip has an 800mAh battery and is guaranteed for life.
