There’s always something interesting going on in the world of Android, and this past week saw some big news for the world’s most popular mobile operating system. In regards to the OS, Google officially launched the latest version of the software, Android 7.0 Nougat, at the beginning of this past week and started rolling it out to compatible Nexus devices. While no devices have launched yet with Android 7.0 on board, one of the first devices to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat will be the LG V20, which was allegedly seen in the wild this past week and was captured on camera, giving us a first look at the design of the phone beyond the previously leaked renders.
This past week also saw Google announce that they would be crowd sourcing designs for their Fall set of Android Wear watch faces through the internet, allowing anyone who has a passion for design and the desire to create a watch face the chance to enter and possibly win the competition. Lenovo’s new YOGA TAB 3 Plus 10 leaked this past week ahead of its expected IFA announcement, and HTC’s upcoming Desire 10 Lifestyle specs were leaked through AnTuTu’s benchmarking website. Xiaomi also revealed the Redmi Note 4 powered by the Helio X20 and running MIUI 8 which is their latest version of the UI on top of Android.
