Nubia had introduced their Nubia Z11 flagship yesterday at IFA in Berlin. This is a direct successor to the Nubia Z9 which was announced last year, and this was technically a re-announcement of the device for the global market considering the fact that it already launched in China earlier this year. The Nubia Z11 is quite a powerful smartphone with top of the line specs, and if those of you who live in India were wondering if and when will this phone come to your country, well, read on.
During the launch event, Nubia did reveal partial availability details for this smartphone. The company said that the device will be available in Europe (the UK, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Russia), Asia (India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia), Argentina, Mexico and the US. Now, Nubia had also said that both the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants will be available in those regions, and as you can see, India is listed here as well. We do know that the phone is going to become available starting this month, but we don’t know when exactly will it hit India. The Nubia Z9 Mini which was introduced last year was available exclusively through Amazon India, so perhaps Nubia plans to renew this partnership, and launch the Nubia Z11 through Amazon India as well. Do keep in mind these are just educated guesses, we cannot confirm through which channels will the device going to be available, at least not at the moment. As far as its pricing goes, the 4GB RAM (+64GB of storage) is priced at 2,499 Yuan ($374 / Rs. 25,055) in China, while the 6GB RAM model (128GB storage) costs 3,499 Yuan ($524 / Rs. 35,081) in Nubia’s homeland. The two phones will quite probably going to be more expensive in India, so keep that in mind.
The Nubia Z11 comes with a 5.5-inch fullHD display, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, and a 3,000mAh battery is also included here, and it is not removable. The 16-megapixel OIS snapper can be found on the back of the Nubia Z11, while an 8-megapixel shooter is placed up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this phone, and on top of it, you’ll find the Nubia UI 4.0. If you’d like to read more about the Nubia Z11, click here.
