Elephone is a company that has been mentioned by tech media quite frequently in the last couple of months. This company had introduced some compelling devices thus far, like the Elephone P9000, which is one of the company’s best-selling smartphones to date. Now, Elephone is planning to release the Elephone S7 really soon, a Galaxy S7 Edge look-alike, but that’s not the only sleek-looking device the company is preparing to release, read on.
If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the Elephone R9, yet another really nice-looking smartphone that will be announced soon by Elephone. The company has shared this image on their official website, which pretty much confirms the design of the device. As you can see, the home button will be placed below the display, and we presume it will double as a fingerprint scanner. Both the power / lock and volume rocker keys will be available on the right-hand side of this smartphone, which probably means its SIM card tray will be placed on the left side. The phone sports incredibly thin side bezels (0.6mm according to the company), they’re almost non-existent, and this phone’s screen-to-body ratio will also be through the roof quite probably, based on this render at the very least.
Now, the company did not share any more spec details when it comes to this smartphone, but if rumors are to be believed, this smartphone will ship with the Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD display, while two SIM card slots will be available on the inside (one of which you’ll be able to use to expand its storage). The 3,000mAh battery is also rumored, while Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this phone with some additions by Elephone, of course. Do keep in mind that these specifications are only rumored, for the time being, nothing has been confirmed up to this point, except for the provided image and bezel thickness, or should we say thinness. This device is going to be announced soon, though we still don’t know when exactly, stay tuned.
