LG's Exec: LG V20 Coming To India In September Or October

The LG V20 is one of the most anticipated devices of 2016, that’s for sure. This will essentially be LG’s second flagship of the year considering the fact that they’ve introduced the LG G5 back in April. In any case, the LG V20 has been leaking out for a while now, and both LG and Google had confirmed that the device will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and that it will be the first smartphone to be announced to ship with Google’s newest OS. It is possible that Google’s upcoming Nexus devices (if that’s the name Google opts for) will reach the market before the LG V20, though do keep in mind that info is based on rumors, so take it with a grain of salt.

That being said, the LG V20 will be launched on September 6th, and it seems like it will reach India in late September or early October, which are great news for Indian consumers who are interested in this device. The LG V10 was not available in the country (at least not officially), but LG’s exec did confirm that the V20 will be coming to India within a month’s of the international announcement, so the device is definitely expected to arrive before October 6th. This information comes from Kim Ki Wan, the Managing Director at LG India. LG’s exec did not reveal any additional info about the LG V20, we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm the leaked info we’ve been seeing lately.

The LG V20 is expected to sport a secondary display above its main panel, just like its predecessor, and chances are that the phone will be made out of metal, as leaks have been suggesting. The device is said to sport a dual camera setup both on its back and front side, and a 4,000mAh battery will quite probably going to be included here. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, and a 5.7-inch QHD main display will be featured up front. The 16 and 8-megapixel cameras are rumored to be included on the back of the V20, and Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed here with LG’s custom UI.
